The neck is having a fashion moment.

For fall, U Beauty is spotlighting the often-overlooked area with “Styled From Neck to Décolleté,” a campaign starring celebrity stylists Dani Michelle, Elizabeth Stewart and Zerina Akers.

Michelle has worked with Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Elsa Hosk and Daisy Edgar-Jones; Stewart’s clients include Julia Roberts, Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis and Elizabeth Olsen, and Akers, known for her work with Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, has also styled Chloe x Halle, Karol G and Megan Thee Stallion. The trio appear in self-styled portraits centered on U Beauty’s The Sculpt Neck + Décolleté Concentrate.

“My job starts with someone feeling really good in their own skin before we start styling, so a product built specifically for that felt less like a beauty partnership and more like something I already think about every day. Freedom with style starts with great skin,” Michelle said in a statement to WWD.

She considers skin in much the same way as clothing or accessories when a look reveals the neck, shoulders or chest.

“The skin is part of the look — it’s in the frame, so it gets the same consideration as the dress,” she went on. “I’m not thinking about covering anything; I’m thinking about what I want the eye to go to. When the neck and chest look radiant and polished, an open neckline reads effortless, feminine and alluring.”

Stewart said she takes a similar approach, particularly when jewelry is part of a look.

“In award show dressing, I’m often showcasing an incredible necklace — so I’m hyperaware that the eye is going to travel to the skin around it,” she said. “The jewelry doesn’t exist in isolation; the skin is the setting for the piece. And then other times, beautiful, glowing skin with no adornment at all is the strongest styling choice you can make — it lets the dress breathe and speak for itself.”

Akers said body care has long played a role in fashion.

“Body care has always been one of fashion’s best-kept secrets,” she said. “Whether you’re applying an iridescent body shimmer, contouring your body, or simply making sure the skin is moisturized, those details affect how the clothes look and feel on the body. Getting dressed is not just about choosing the right garments and accessories; it’s about preparing the entire canvas. Skin care and body care create the finish that allows a look to feel polished, intentional and complete.”

The Sculpt Neck + Décolleté Concentrate, one of U Beauty’s bestselling products, is formulated for the neck, jawline and chest and includes ectoin, hexapeptide, four forms of hyaluronic acid and biomimetic plant extracts, along with the brand’s proprietary Siren Capsule Technology. Founded in 2019 by Tina Chen Craig and Katie Borghese, the U.S.-based luxury skin care brand makes its products in Italy. The serum is available in the U.S. in 15-ml. and 50-ml. sizes, priced at $58 and $138, respectively, through U Beauty and retailers including Sephora, Nordstrom, Bluemercury, Bloomingdale’s and Violet Grey.

For Akers, the campaign reflects how closely fashion and beauty already work together: “Putting fashion stylists at the center of a skin care campaign acknowledges what we’ve always understood: fashion and beauty are not separate conversations. Stylists are responsible for the complete visual story, from the clothing and accessories to the way the skin catches the light. We work closely with hair and makeup artists to create one cohesive image, so it feels natural for us to be part of the beauty conversation. This campaign reflects how people really get dressed today, with fashion, skincare and beauty all working together to create the moment.”
