Original Penguin is expanding its portfolio of athletic endorsements.

The brand, part of Perry Ellis International, has officially welcomed Carolina Chacarra as its latest golf ambassador.

Hailing from Madrid, Chacarra gained prominence during her time at Wake Forest University, becoming a notable figure in the world of collegiate golf. Throughout her amateur career, she received distinguished accolades such as being named the ACC Freshman of the Year in 2022. Moreover, she was selected for the Arnold Palmer Cup teams for both 2022 and 2025, clinched the NCAA Championship title in 2023, and, most recently, was honored with the Inkster Award in 2025, recognizing her as the top-ranked NCAA senior.

Oscar Feldenkreis, the CEO of Perry Ellis, expressed enthusiasm about Chacarra’s role, stating that she exemplifies a fresh generation of global golfers who infuse personality, confidence, and modern style into the sport. He noted, “Original Penguin has always aimed to merge its rich heritage with contemporary flair, and Carolina perfectly embodies that ethos both on and off the golf course.”

In her last season as an amateur, Chacarra tied for 36th at the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open before transitioning to professionalism. In her professional debut, she continued to impress by tying for 29th at the PIF Saudi Ladies International.

As a representative of Original Penguin, Chacarra will don the brand’s apparel throughout the 2026 season.

“I’m thrilled to partner with Original Penguin as I embark on this new phase of my career,” stated Chacarra. “The brand perfectly blends traditional style with modern golf aesthetics. It feels just as natural to wear both on and off the course, and I’m looking forward to representing the Penguin.”

Chacarra now joins an impressive roster of golfers affiliated with Original Penguin, including talents like Johnny Keefer, Nico Echavarria, Brian Campbell, Max McGreevy, and Kristoffer Reitan.
